As a Creative Director with over 13 years of agency experience, Ashley has had the fortune of helping build such brands as Microsoft, Cathay Pacific, Hitachi, Lowes and Wrangler jeans to name just a few. He has developed highly successful campaigns that have appeared on both a local and global stage. He also brings a desire to create and develop work that not only stands out for its creativity, but its effectiveness in the marketplace.
Ashley's work has been featured in the One Show annual, Graphis Advertising annual, and the Print Design annual. He has been a Kelly Awards finalist and was named Art Director of the year at the 2004 Lucie Awards.
When not working or spending time with his lovely wife Karina and wonderful 2-year-old son Tyler, you can usually find him near or in the water.
Lance Dalgart comes to Black Sand Creative with over 15 years of photography experience and a multitude of technological talents. Like Black Sands other core members, Lance's resume is impressive. With staff positions at Thrasher, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Skateboarder Magazine and Transworld Skateboarding. It was at Transworld Skateboarding that Lance built one of the first, and most successful, websites devoted to the sport, Skateboarding.com.
Most recently, Lance honed his skills as multimedia director at Skatebook, an artistic skateboard retrospective book series. At Skatebook, he took on the role of a media Renaissance man, shooting photos, laying out chapters, editing videos, designing the website, and blogging about skate related events.
You'll usually find Lance either glued to his computer, or hanging out with his wife Jessica and their long-haired dachshund Zelda.
